My Match Day Experience -

I started the day walking along the docs in Ipswich going to different pubs and there were many Ipswich fans around looking excited for the game, I saw a few Plymouth fans around too and it just showed that Plymouth as well as Ipswich have a big fan base. As we approached the stadium you could hear all the Ipswich fans singing and you could hear the excitement from the fans, everyone was smiling and seemed very happy. There was so many fans waiting to enter the stadium and everyone was in a great mood before kick off. I went to a burger van just outside the stadium and nothing beats a good burger before watching a good game of football. There is a bar in the Bobby Robson stand which is the stand we was in and we went to the bar before kick off, with five minutes before kickoff we went to our seats in the stadium. The game was dedicated to Paul Mariner who was a football legend at both Ipswich and Plymouth, when we was seated there was a blue flag at every seat which is what we had to use for the Paul Mariner display. The display was breath taking, the fans in the stadium all came together and remembered a football legend. The game itself was good, Plymouth who were 4th in the league at the time was very poor and did not have many chances at all. Ipswich did not have many chances either but one chance was what it took to separate the teams. The full time whistle went and the game ended 1-0 to Ipswich. The atmosphere was brilliant and everyone was very happy. On the way out the stadium the fans were singing and everyone was so happy. It was a good feeling hearing chants and seeing fans happy at the end. We ended the day going to another pub and went out for a meal knowing that Ipswich had a chance to get playoffs with that huge win.
